Hi! I’m Catherine.
I was born and bred in Singapore. I graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic with a Diploma in Digital Media Design, specialising in interactive media (web design). I have over 13 years of experience in the creative industry, both on agencies and clients’ side.
However, before I had entered polytechnic, I was already able to code a website with notepad. I had self-taught myself Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator when I was in secondary school.
I am a well-rounded designer who is able to make sense out of chaos, conceptualise, art direct and design. I am well-versed with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro & Dreamweaver). I have basic knowledge in After Effects and 3DSM. I am self-taught in videography and believe anything can be picked up as long as we are willing to put in the hard work.
I work and thrive under a fast-paced environment, and due to my hands-on experience in designing, I am able to accurately gauge the time needed for every task. This time sensitivity is especially helping in managing multiple stakeholders and timelines.
In recent years, I have immense interest in UXUI and have picked up Sketch on my own. I am passionate about designing and developing human-centric designs that improve people’s lives. Simplify the process.
